"Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words
That you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your innovation"

This week I met with window contractors. Wow. Window options seem endless. And expensive. We are replacing all of the original 1962 single-pane windows, enlarging several and adding three sets of patio doors. The cost is approximately ten percent of our overall budget, but the payoff is that our heating/cooling costs will be reduced and there is an 80 percent return if we ever decide to sell the home. Let the sun illuminate the words
That you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your innovation"
